BAGAC, Bataan – Romano “Popoy” Del Rosario achieved historic victory for being the very first elected regular member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to come from Bagac.
Results from last week’s midterm elections showed him one of the five winning board members in the second district.
“Congratulations to Romano ‘Popoy’ Del Rosario for being the first regular board member from Bagac”, messaged outgoing Councilor Dante Macaibay of this town.
Bagac is the smallest town in terms of population in Bataan second district. Other towns in the district include Balanga City, Pilar, Orion, Limay, and Mariveles.
Earlier, outgoing Bagac Councilor Del Rosario profusely thanked members of National Unity Party in the province led by reelected Gov. Abet Garcia for the trust.
The new board member vowed to work hard to fully serve the people in the district.
Del Rosario is a very productive member of the municipal council, and has a remarkable feat of being consistent No.1 councilor in three consecutive elections.
