ORION, Bataan – Asian Dragon International Impex Inc., a company based in Subic Bay Freeport, has extended help on Friday to more than 1,000 families victimized by fire in Barangay Capunitan, this town.
Personally led by the company’s Chairman and CEO Mike Sullivan with the employees, victims were given relief goods, hygiene kits, and clean water. Fire victims were also fed that night at the covered court of Bataan School of Fisheries in Barangay Lusungan here.
Rotary Club of Metro Olongapo headed by its Chairman and past president Michelle Canlas joined in helping the victims.
Sullivan, accompanied by some company employees, went to ground zero to see for himself the debris of more or less 800 houses gutted by fire.
“They really need help. Let us see what we can still do for them”, he told his team as he walked over black ashes.
Asian Dragon is engaged in warehousing, transshipment, importation, export, and trading.
On the other hand, tapped by the Rotary Club, GAMAGen Services provided magician for free to entertain victims.
“This is our way to help fire victims especially the kids who were traumatized”, said GAMAGen General Manager Jen Angeles.
Ocampo’s Appliance Center, meanwhile, provided a singer.
