CAMP TOLENTINO, Balanga City – A multi-sectoral group composed of concerned individuals from the Philippine National Police, DepEd, Comelec and inter-faith leaders, pastors and other civic organizations launched last Friday the ASIN at ILAW (Ang Suhol Iwaksi Natin at Itaguyod Ligal at Wasto) Movement.
The movement aims to encourage the electorate to keep the forthcoming clean, honest, accurate and credible.
The group had pointed out that “suhol” or bribe starts from a family’s home where a mother would give the change to a child for an errand.
P/Supt. Villamor Tuliao, Bataan police director, urges the citizenry to help the Comelec hold a peaceful and orderly election in Bataan province. He believes there is no such thing as 3Gs in the province. Tuliao was referring to guns, goons and gold which are non-existent in Bataan.
“My challenge is: tulungan natin ang Comelec at mga teachers sa pagkakaroon ng maayos at matahimik na election,” the newly-designated Bataan police director said.
