BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Government of Bataan represented by Gov. Abet Garcia signed yesterday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zzish Ltd., a London – based company represented by Mr. Alex Cattani, Business Development & Partnerships Director, focusing on educational technology.
The Zzish is a powerful tool for accessing and storing student data in real-time thru an application called Quizalize. It stores class records in one place to easily track students’ progress and analyze critical learning gaps.
Zzish will start to rollout the project in schools, both in the Division of Bataan and Balanga City next month.
Gov. Garcia explained that Quizalize, will act as a virtual teaching assistant for teachers to access the student performances, adding that this will save teacher’s time in tasks planning and analyzing results, hence allowing her to manage her class, prepare quizzes, assign activities to students and access results faster.
The app will exactly show which questions the students struggled with, the least successful questions where most students failed and highlight the topic where the students find it most difficult.
The governor added that through this application, the students, teachers, principal and other DepEd officials, will be “on the same page.” This will also be a valuable tool in determining who the best teachers are in their school based on the students’ performances.
