BALANGA CITY, Bataan- A-newly-inducted Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president has vowed to give more impetus on the highly-reliable Technical Education and Skills Training Development Authority (TESDA) programs for the productive advantages of the out of school youth in Bataan.
Ms. Precious D.Manuel,23, of Dinalupihan town and SK representative to the Bataan Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) explained the exigency of career development for the sake of the young generation in confronting the future challenges to achieve the best quality of life.
Ms. Manuel, an accountancy graduate of Columban College in Olongapo City is expected to become a chairperson of SP Committee on Youth and Sports Development is focusing on instituting training venues in the eleven (11) towns and a component city.
She said that the establishment of TESDA –sponsored technical learning facilities would equip the youth of much needed practical skills and trade expertise toward the acquisition of good-paying overseas employment opportunities.
For the meantime, Ms. Manuel is seeking the assistance of SK Federation officers to undertake a massive survey to have a complete registry of members, their educational backgrounds and other fields of interest which would directly be enhanced by professional traitors coming from the government technical agency.
Ms. Manuel, an Iskolar ng Bataan and a member of a collegiate swimming team has packaged swimming lessons in the youth sports activities which she believes more exciting and amazing competitive sports event.
The increasing numbers of foreign and local investors putting up manufacturing plants to the progressive ecozones in Mariveles and Hermosa towns and industrial estates in Limay and Mariveles towns would require more technically-trained workers.
