BALANGA CITY, Bataan – With the theme, “Going stronger at 10”, the Capitol Employees of Bataan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CEmBa MPC) observed its 10th year anniversary and general assembly meeting yesterday at Crown Royale Hotel, this City.
Engr. Godofredo O. de Guzman, CEmBa Chairperson, proudly reported that once again, they have exceeded their targets for the year 2015 of 4 million to 4.4 million and that this year, their target is a net surplus of 5.5 million which can be achieved through the continued support and patronage to the cooperative.
“Our interaction with different successful cooperatives pushed us to gain positive action to meet our targets,” Engr. de Guzman said.
Moreover, according to Manager May A. Hizon, the cooperative’s Investment (Interest on Share Capital) has increased by 17 percent and its Balik-tangkilik (Patronage Refund) by 13 percent.
On the other hand, the Credit Committee thru Engr. Bienvenido R. Paguio Jr. is also proud to report that their members were provided much needed assistance in times of dire financial needs and emergencies through the volume of loans amounting to P40,204,448.74 which were carefully evaluated and recommended for approval by the Committee.
An election of board of directors who will serve for a term of two years (2016-2018) was held during the event. The following members filed their candidacy: (1) Engr. Godofredo O. de Guzman, (2) Corazon S. Bernardo, (3) Alberto C. Tuvera, and (4) Rodolfo L. Gomez.
Part of the program was the distribution of dividends and patronage refund and raffle. Rev. Fr. Edilbert S. Pomer officiated the thanksgiving mass at the start of the program.
