BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The provincial office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan) formally opened today their “Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan” for this year 2017.
Nelin Cabahug, OIC-provincial director of DTI-Bataan joined local officials, exhibitors and traders, the local media and other partners in the formal opening rites at the Plaza Mayor de Balanga.
Tess Magtanong of DTI said there are 60 exhibitors who joined the annual activity where consumers can enjoy 10% discount in all items on sale such as school uniforms, bags, shoes, school supplies, and other basic needs.
Joey Diaz, president of Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BACCII) also joined the opening ceremonies along with his members and officials.
Galing Bataan products and gadgets like laptops and cellular phones are also on sale at the trade site.
Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan is organized by the DTI in partnership with several manufacturers and distributors to help the parents and students to have the best value of products for their money. It will run from May 17 to 19, 2017.
