BALANGA CITY, Bataan – A supervisor of an electric cooperative here has openly recognized the long range economic development strategy of Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia as the principal foundation of the province exceptional path to eco-industrial prosperity.
Rene Santos, supervisor of Balanga City sub- office of the Peninsula Electric Cooperative, Incorporated (PENELCO) explained the unambiguous role of the local government authorities in formulating financially-viable scheme of ensuring favorable business climate and good governance certainly draw stakeholders in the province which is a foremost investment center in Central Luzon.
Citing the exceptional leadership qualities and business expertise of local officials led by Reps. Geraldine Roman of the 1st Congressional District and Jose Enrique S. Garcia lll. of the Bataan 2nd Congressional district who have motivated local and foreign locators to appreciate the competitive economic investment programs of Bataan.
Santos mentioned the plausible implementation of comprehensive economic policy ,fiscal and non-fiscal tax incentives and other entrepreneurial privileges, high standard quality and efficient infrastructure projects; stable power and water supply , sufficient port and storage facilities, availability of skilled manpower and professionals as the key elements of attaining economic growth.
Santos based his analytical observations on the organizational development know how and corporate –oriented strategy of the youthful provincial executive whose vision to make Bataan as the preferred location for eco-industrial investments in the year 2020.
He explained the sustainable socio-economic impact of Governor Garcia ‘s program is wholly intended towards a better quality of life for all sectors of society and to ensure that the desired economic improvements reach the residents in the rural communities.
Santos, who had visited several highly-developed countries in Asia and Europe, said the executions of master development plan would enable the province to become one of the progressive logistic corridors in Central Luzon.
