BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Garcia siblings still call the shots in Bataan province following a fresh mandate from its electorates in yesterday’s mid-term election.

Based on partial unofficial results, re-electionist Bataan Governor Albert Garcia (NUP) got an overwhelming 44,421 votes over opponent Ver Roque (PFP) with only 6,386 votes.

Roque, is former mayor of Limay, one of the country’s richest towns and host Petron, to the country’s largest oil refinery.

Gov. Garcia’s other siblings, Bataan Second District Rep. Jose Enrique Garcia III and Balanga City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia, and cousin Vice Governor Cristina Garcia ran unopposed.

The Garcia siblings and cousin Cris conveniently built their political fortune from then political patriarch former governor and congressman Enrique Tuazon Garcia.

They lived up to the expectation of Bataan folks through the systematic free education program, livelihood projects and infrastructures including Freeport Area of Bataan which generates jobs and investments.
