CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – Generating Impact also known as Genpact Philippines opened its first provincial site outside the Metro in a site inauguration held today at the Ground Floor Lobby, West Parking, Genpact Building, Vista Mall, Roman Hi-way, Brgy. Cupang, this City.
Very important persons attended the ribbon cutting headed by the Chairman of the Villar Group of Companies, Chairman Manny Villar, Country Manager of Genpact Philippines Mr. Danilo Sebastian Reyes, Vice-President for Operations of Genpact Mr. Arnab Ray, Ambassadress of Investments and Industries Miss Bataan 1st runner-up Charlene Versoza, City Mayor Francis Garcia, and Gov. Albert S. Garcia.
As Genpact opened today its Bataan site, Mr. Reyes said in his welcome remarks “As part of our commitment in growing our business in the Philippines, we are excited to establish our site in Bataan. Together with our partners in the provincial government, academic institutions and business community, we will build a world class Information Technology-Business Process Management (IT-BPM) site that creates a great career closer to home.”
The City of Balanga cradles the next age of professionals ready to generate impact in the contact center industry. Genpact Philippines vowed to strengthen its workplace in the city with its first 300+ seats launched.
Owner of Vista Mall Bataan, former senator Manny Villar also graced the event and assured the participants of his full support in the operation of the Genpact Bataan. Also, he announced that he has plans to build hotels, convention center and sports complex within the vicinity of the shopping mall which according to him will help boost the economic growth of the province hand in hand with Genpact Bataan.
Celebrating their 10th year anniversary, Mr. Ray gladly expressed his joy upon the opening of the Genpact Bataan as their new site, in time with the 10th year celebration. He said that they chose the province because it has strong moral values that match their company values.
Genpact Bataan will be the first smoke-free call center facility in the Philippines with regards to the No Smoking Campaign of the city and the province
Meanwhile, Gov. Garcia assured Genpact Philippines officials that the provincial government will do everything to support the operation of the company. City Mayor Garcia on the other hand recalled all the advocacies and projects of former City Mayor Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia such as smoking ban and the concept of the University Town which became the main reasons why Genpact Philippines chose the city.
