CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan — “I hope after this event we get to learn and appreciate goat farming as one of our leading income sources in the future,” said one of the farmers who joined the second day of Goat Fiesta 2018 held at the Bataan People’s Center, yesterday.
Congressman Joet Garcia acknowledged the efforts of each participating school and organization for the success of the Goat Fiesta 2018 during the awarding ceremony. He is also hopeful that awareness on goat farming doesn’t just end with the recently concluded Fiesta, hoping that it will be the start of the soon to rise again goat farming industry in the Philippines as well as in Bataan.
Activities for the second day were all in line with the feast celebration such as palarong kambing, on the spot poster making, photography and documentary contest, and agrisarap cooking contest which includes the goat meat as the main ingredient.
