BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Albert “Abet” S. Garcia whole-heartedly appreciates the highly-remarkable growth in the historical peninsula in terms of job opportunities, low poverty level, high educational performance and other distinct features primarily in investment with vibrant business and environmental friendly atmosphere.
The newly-reelected provincial executive recognized the on-going prosperity as the outcome of a long-range and intellectually-crafted socio-economic development approaches of the local government authorities.
Governor Garcia stressed the expansion of investments, both foreign and local, is the continued improvement of appropriate financing programs in the manufacturing areas of special economic zones and industrial growth areas.
Besides the industrial aspect, Governor Garcia has readied commercial property leasing spaces and socialized housing projects with the expected influx of industrial workers from other regions of the country.
He stressed the provincial government is looking for a private partner to develop a new concept of township project in the periphery of FAB which will include commercial areas and other public utilities such as schools, public market, church, health center and other amenities.
Governor Garcia has emphasized the increasing demand for highly-skilled manpower in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) and other eco-industrial zones in Limay and Hermosa towns has attracted workers from different provinces of Central Luzon and beyond as far as the Visayas regions to apply for good paying jobs in various industrial and commercial establishments.
The immediate solution to the mounting housing shortage needs to be handled by the local municipal government units with the increase of investments in the identified industrial growth sectors of the province.
