BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia recognizes the progressive legislative development in the budgetary appropriations particularly in the infrastructure and other socio-economic programs with new House leadership.
Governor Garcia pointed out the assumption of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as the new Speaker of the House of Representatives after the 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last month would ensure productive adoption of legislative measures for the improvement of public works projects in Central Luzon.
The Governor is reasonably optimistic of the magnitude of flooding problems predominantly in the coastal communities would be given priority in the infrastructure agenda of the former President in compliance with the administration policy of diversifying socio-economic growth outside of Metro Manila.
Earlier, Davao City 1st district representative Karlo Nograles, has committed to support the infrastructure programs of the historic peninsula in quest of its strategic plan to improve infrastructure facilities of different bridges, flood control dikes and other road networks as principal groundwork in attracting locators, both local and foreign, to one of the top investment hubs in Central Luzon.
Governor Garcia expounds on the economic proficiency of the former President with emphasis on the importance of highly-developed road system and more cohesive set-up in the presence of the three largest economic zones located in Bataan, Zambales and Pampanga provinces.
More likely , the substantial budgetary allocation for infrastructure on the Western Central Luzon corridor would hasten the expansion of export-oriented industrial plants, business process outsourcing (BPO} industry ,commercial retail businesses and services and other small and medium entrepreneurs.
