BAGAC, Bataan – Mayor Louise Gabriel Q. del Rosario is seeking the expertise of tourism-oriented investment authorities to undertake exhaustive research work on the unexplored attractions of the leading tourist destinations in the province.

Nick S. Ancheta, Bagac municipal administrator, said that Mayor del Rosario is urging the Department of Tourism (DOT) and other government historical agencies to formulate an effective system to identify feasible sites worth-exploring with the increasing tourist arrivals.

Ancheta reiterated the objectives of the youngest municipal executive of the country and former Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation president to strengthen travel and tourism industry as major sources of livelihood of the residents of the coastal town and spread out development in the countryside by methodically identifying significant historical sites.

He observed Metro Manila developers have unveiled plans to expand its footstep in the locality with historical values and splendid natural grandeur of the mountains, beaches, rivers and rustic community waiting to be discovered to set-up hotel resorts, commercial and residential property leasing markets with particular focal point on leisure and life style oriented health tourism projects in the coastal villages of Bagac town.

Ancheta, a former  Bagac municipal councilor and  college student leader , has  closely observed that Bataan peninsula  to remain a stellar performer in the Western Central Luzon corridor which signifies that the province can offer new investment opportunities that would provide the desired outcome for its tourism growth.

The coastal town’s emerging tourism markets will also offer investors the opportunity to knock into its long term growth fundamentals which will become increasingly viable due to sustained reforms and economic initiatives, Ancheta added.
