BALANGA CITY, Bataan -  Governor  Albert Raymond S. Garcia has articulated the high migration movement of skilled and professional workers is fueled by the increasing numbers of prospective foreign and local investors to put up manufacturing firms and property developers to construct housing facilities near the historic peninsula strategically located in freeport and economic zones.

Speaking during the  116th Police Service Anniversary held at Camp Tolentino, Bataan Police Provincial Office on Monday, the governor explained that big demand for industrial workers has soared when investors have  been motivated by aggressive government successful economic trade missions to China, Australia and Middle East .

He said a firm operating in the fast emerging economic zone in the country, Freeport  Area of Bataan in Mariveles  town, is  now hiring more than 2,000 factory workers  as part of their expanding  production scheme of supplying the global market requirements of high-quality electronics products.

The healthy business climate in the province has encouraged labor intensive industrial corporations from other Asian countries to relocate and construct factories intended to manufacture top-fashionable export products.

The province’s seven freeport and economic zones are reportedly geographically situated to the country’s  trade and commerce center, while the local government has provided efficient services with stable power supply and world-class infrastructure services, fiscal incentives, highly-skilled workforce and other investment earnings   for multi-national locators to participate in the development of Bataan.

Governor Garcia praised the significant role of the local police authorities for ensuring cohesive and dynamic peaceful business atmosphere in the historic peninsula which is mainly essential in attracting foreign investments.

He added that local and foreign locators and property developers have always considered conducive peace and order environment as a great motivational factor in selecting a viable site for investment.
