BAGAC, Bataan – “Home of a rich, diverse history, and culture,” is what best describes this municipality during the National Arts Month Celebration Kick Off for Luzon held at this town’s plaza spearheaded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in partnership with Bella Artes Projects, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Provincial Government of Bataan, and Municipality of Bagac, yesterday, February 11.
Various art forms were showcased during the said celebration. Guhit Pinas led the Mural Making located at Municipality of Bagac and Public Art Exhibit at Balanga Capitol Grounds. Students were also engaged in print making workshop held at EC Bernabe High School. “In the near future Bagac will soon be a home to the High School for the arts in Bataan,” said Former Board Member Gaudencio Ferrer in welcoming the participants from different schools, LGUs and national agencies.
Everyone was in awe during the performances of the Pride of Bataan namely: Tanghalang Tatsulok, Koro Bangkal, Udyong Rondalla, Bataan National High School Dance Troupe, PUP Banda Kawayan, and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Dancers. The celebration ended with a unity dance and a film-screening of CinemaRehiyon Luzon Films.
