Mr. Marlon Pabustan, a former member of the Philippine Marine Corps turned businessman is the man behind the Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenirs.
Actually, Mr. Pabustan’s business idea started during his stint in the military when he was in charge in their livelihood projects such as handicraft making, agriculture, and fishery.
He started with a few souvenir items which he gave to his relatives and friends as gifts on occasions. He never imagined that eventually his hobby will turn into a business.
In 2015, Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenirs was born. All the materials they use such as bamboo, tiger grass, sea shells, and coconut are all from Bagac and Morong
The people behind Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenirs ensure that they always produce high quality products by conducting a “torture test’ on their finished products. They throw keychains and refrigerator magnets against the wall to test its durability.
Along with the rise of Bataan, Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenirs is also making its name outside Bataan, supplying their products in different areas in the Philippines such as Cebu, Shangrila Makati, Resorts World Manila, Rustans, and Anvaya Cove.
