CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – A total of 56 Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) joined the annual Galing Bataan Trade Fair in participation of the week long celebration of 77th Araw ng Kagitingan held at Plaza Mayor de Ciudad de Balanga yesterday, April 3.
Participating SMEs are from the different municipalities in Bataan. A variety of Bataan made products are on sale such as bags, pillows, marine products, delicacies, and so much more.
“I was really poor, but I promised myself that I won’t be poor for the rest of my life,” said owner of Amanda’s Marine Products, Galing Bataan Trade Fair guest speaker Ms. Armanda Battad in sharing her own experience to her fellow businessmen.
She also mentioned that it is not only her perseverance that made her for where she is now, rather, the people who helped her are also part of her success. “Don’t be scared to take the risks for you’ll never learn if you will not experience it,” she added. Ms. Battad also emphasized that we should all seek help from the government because there are a lot of programs given to those who want to have a business, the reason why there is no such problem in doing so.
To date, Amanda’s Marine Products are not just recognized locally but also internationally.
