ABUCAY, Bataan – Celebrating its 5th year, KANTArriba season has come again – ready to make us kilig, give us tears, and leave us in awe. In order to give the complete KANTArriba experience, the music videos for each song entry was launched yesterday, September 28, 2017, at Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Bataan’s audio-visual room.

Way back 2013, when KANTArriba was mainly a requirement for a subject of Communication Arts students, the entries were just 3 songs. But today, as it opened the doors for all college and high school students and even faculty members in the Colegio and as it continuously honed individuals to produce a greater art of their own, the song entries quintupled in number because 14 song entries compete in this year’s KANTArriba.

Directors and song writers were present in the music video launch to give a short background of what they have produced. The entries are the following:

“Dito Ka Muna” composed by Lanz Alarcon & Vhey Tapia, directed by Franeliza Dela Fuente & Joan Pangilinan

“Baka Sakali” composed by Anna Katrina Padilla & John Pardo, directed by Alex luartes

“Tanging Paraan” composed by Stephanie Dewan, directed by Ray de Leon & Donna Izon

“Tayo Sana” composed by Ray Tomampo & Jayson Viray, directed by Ray Tomampo & MJ Ilano

“Hanggang Dito Na Lang” composed by Jersey Trinidad, directed by Jazzie Zabala & Lance Labarda

“All About Fate” composed by Loi Balbaloza & Raven Ochoa, directed by Geneva Malit, Loi Balbaloza & Raven Ochoa

“Ala-ala” composed by Louel Posadas & Sean Wicker, directed by Cielou Posadas

“Laya” composed by Maurice Macatangay, directed by Jen Enriquez

“I Found You” composed by Daniel Joshua Magpoc, directed by CJ Signio & Patricia Luna

“Muli” composed by Carlo Lasmarias & Joaquin Magtanong, directed by Marc Rafael

“White Noise” composed by Benzi Castro, Fatima Payad, & Jeremiah Mendoza, directed by Carlo Ravago

“Mahal Kita” composed by Charlene Servera, directed by Akimna Hapin, Marco Castro & Alethea Ganzon

“Sincerely Do” composed by Sheena Morano, directed by Vinnise Marcelo, Larraine Cruz

 The music videos were judged by Mr. John Lacbain (Businessman, Photographer), Mr. Jeno Receno (Businessman, Advertising Major in UST), Mr. Noel Cayabyab (Licensed Nurse, Pilot, Photographer/Videographer), Ms. Marla Santos (Marketing Assistant, PETA), and Ms. Aida Rubiano (EIC, 1Bataan).

 Awards night and live performances will be held on October 6, at Vista Mall Bataan.
