BAGAC, Bataan – Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar wanted that additional curriculum for the heroic acts of the past leaders be put in history to enable young students further learn their heroism.
Romeo Co and Rogelio Dacanay, general manager and assistant general manager of Las Casas, respectively, said that some of the ‘untold heroic acts’ of the country’s heroes was not actually being taught to the young students by the schools.
“They have forgotten already the untold heroism of our heroes during the during the early years of our country,” Co and Dacanay lamented.
The only Philippine destination that showcases the best of Filipino heritage and culture through the colorful stories as retold by Las Casas owner Jose “Jerry” Acuzar’s collection of restored Spanish-Filipino houses, Las Casas showcased recently before a large crowd inside the Las Casas resort hotel the heroic deeds of the Filipino revolutionaries in 18th and early 19th centuries, earning a deafening applause from the viewers.
