MARIVELES, Bataan – A new commercial and office building was formally opened Monday afternoon at the Freeport Area of Bataan here.
The formal rites were led by Miss Lilia Tamayo, president of Tamayo Realty Corporation and her family and was graced by Mariveles municipal mayor Ace Jello Concepcion, vice mayor Angelito Rubia, Grand Innovasia Concept Corp. president Sheryl Xiaojing Lou, GICC Properties chairman of the board and retired Navy Capt. Benjamin Tancio, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan representatives and noted personalities in the business sector of Mariveles.
Bataan Governor Abet Garcia was represented by former provincial board member Gaudencio Ferrer.
Tamayo, who is also the founding president of Mariveles Centennial Host Lions Club was also joined by her fellow Lions from other Lion’s Clubs.
The 2nd floor of the building will house the Tamayo Realty Corporation office and the Mariveles Centennial Host’s Lions Club office.
Meanwhile at the ground floor of Tamayo Building, the 438th branch of Chinabank was formally opened and was graced by key officials of the said universal bank headed by Boy Cape, head of Chinabank’s North Luzon branches (Regions 1, 2 & 3). Chinabank is one of the major business partners of Tamayo Realty Corporation.
In her brief but emotional speech, Tamayo thank the Almighty God for giving her a “second life” together with her family and friends for the “continuous blessings” that she promised to share with her fellow Bataeños as she expands and progresses in the field of business and philanthropic endeavors.
Tamayo, who is said to be the only all Filipino locator/company here, is also planning to expand her business at the FAB by building her company’s warehouses in the near future.
