DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Mrs. Evelyn Castro, a meat dealer at the Dinalupihan Public Market has expressed her gratitude to Mayor Maria Angela S. Garcia for implementing infrastructure projects and instilling discipline to achieve the status of business–friendly commercial district.
Castro lauded the initiatives of reelected Mayor Gila Garcia of inculcating the moral values of self-restraint against smoking, illegal drugs, and other unlawful activities which may hamper institutional development of the town to ensure a dynamic business climate.
Aside from her moral regeneration concept, Mayor Garcia’s unquestionable and marvelous performances of upgrading public works projects and implementation of flood control plan have encouraging impact to investors.
She explained the long-range strategic business goal of Mayor Garcia harmonizes the implementing economic policies to make doing business easier, to level the playing field which are decisively providing productive incentives to stakeholders to be more competitive location as the gateway to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authrity and Clark Economic Zone, both regarded as the sprawling economic zones in the country.
She enumerated the establishment of more commercial and retailing outlets, banking institutions, fast foods, and other medium enterprises from Metro Manila; of putting up franchising agreement with the local businessmen is a good sign of tremendous growth in trade and commerce and influential skills of Mayor Garcia, to attract prospective locators.
The national government’s aim of dispersing the economy to the countryside will spur rural development particularly in Bataan with its existing sufficient power and water supply, skilled and highly educated manpower, excellent infrastructure facilities and community friendly and peaceful populace.
