BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Metro Manila and locally based industrial, commercial property leasing entrepreneurs and real estate developers are keenly evaluating the great business potential of the latest modernization of the province’s main thoroughfare.
Ms. Vinia R. Geronimo, 42, of Barangay Gabon, Abucay town, and an in-house real estate agent of Cresta Oro Housing Corporation owned by Ronnie Del Rosario, one of the prestigious contractors and housing and resort developers in the historic peninsula and Metro Manila, expressed her personal assessments of the methodical outcome of the continuous upgrading of Roman Expressway transforming it into a fast emerging commercial business district in the Western Central Luzon corridor.
In her analytical observation of the on-going rehabilitation of 68 kilometer road network from Barangay Palihan in Hermosa town to coastal village of Cabcaben in southern Bataan town of Mariveles, Ms. Geronimo has cited the foreign manufacturing firms, local corporate and retailing magnates are eyeing to take advantage of the historic peninsula status as business friendly atmosphere .
More locators are expected to move to Bataan with the local government authorities objective of enormously applying the establishment of special economic zones which would encourage fresh investments with fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, availability of professional and skilled workers, sufficient power supply, accessible port depot and terminal facilities and other benefits.
Ms. Geronimo said the province’s existing productive economic zones, Mount Tourism Enterprises infrastructure Zone, and other industrial estates in Limay and Mariveles towns.are fundamentally reflective of the economic upsurge of Bataan toward industrialization stage.
