BALANGA CITY, Bataan – An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is expecting an enthusiastic escalation of the province with the meaningful expansion of industrial firms, commercial and retailing trade entrepreneurship industry.
Mr. Nestor Caragay, who worked for several years in the Middle East, emphasized the favorable business friendly atmosphere and sustainable investment opportunities with the number of revenue-earning special economic zones and industrial estates established in the historic peninsula in the past two decades.
Citing two multi-billion dollar projects, Mr. Caragay predicts the operations of efficient railroad system in the near future interlinking the Clark Freeport in Pampanga and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in Olongapo City and the 22 kilometer tollway bridge from the industrial town of Mariveles, to the island fortress of Corregidor – to the coastal town of Naic in Cavite would further boost local economic development and improve the quality of life of the residents.
Mr. Caragay said the timely groundwork agenda of President Rodrigo R. Duterte of Build, Build, Build has undeniably improved infrastructure quality of roads and bridges, upgrading of maintenance standard of public works, improvement of manpower services and other facilities which draw locators to the province.
He portrayed the local macro – economic development plan of Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia enhances the investment inflows under the Public and Private Partnership scheme.
He added the entry of the country’s commercial shopping malls here reflects the vast opportunities for entrepreneurs to enjoy the booming economy in the province’s business, educational and government center in the component city of Balanga.
