LIMAY, Bataan – ORICA Philippines conducted a tree planting activity participated in by more than 60 reformists held at the Bahay Pagbabago, Brgy. Lamao, this town, earlier today, as part of the opening ceremony of the newly renovated Bahay Pagbabago that will house the surrenderees throughout their reformation program.
Orica Philippines, the global leader in mining and civil blasting solutions, supports the advocacy of the provincial government to eradicate the drug problem.
More than 800 seedlings of eucalyptus, mahogany and narra were planted within the vicinity of the building and will be maintained by the reformists as part of their community service.
Present during the tree planting were barangay captains of Limay, Officer-in-Charge of Bahay Pagbabago PSupt. Ricardo Santiago Jr., representatives from ORICA Philippines, Bataan PPO Provincial Director PSSupt. Benjamin Silo Jr., and East Asia Business Development Manager of Orica Phils. Inc. Mr. Keiran Balkin.
