BALANGA CITY, Bataan- A retired Sangguniang Bayan (SB) secretary of a Northern Bataan town is admonishing for the formulation of an integrated planning system and management development scheme to achieve meaningful eco-industrial growth.
SB secretary Tito Mate of Samal town is advocating for an efficient and effective implementation of parameters namely resource utilization process and standard environmental quality for the strategic approaches on ecological, economic and social impacts of projected investment inflows in the vicinity of the town’s designated industrial estate.
He opined that several successful management teams of commercial and manufacturing firms based in Central Luzon and Metro Manila have keenly observed the viability of exploring still undeveloped sections of the town’s upland villages as productive industrial sites.
The SB secretary has noticed the positive reactions of potential investors who are eyeing the historic peninsula vast lands and strategic locations which are undergoing massive infrastructure improvements of major road networks including vital public works ,port depots and terminals projects along the Mariveles coastline in anticipation of a growing industrial market.
The competitive market value , abundance of skilled manpower and availability of more conducive development sites and port facilities, business-friendly status and relatively peaceful make Bataan an attractive economic zones ,Secretary Mate explained during an informal interview on the aspect of local economic expansion the other day.
The presence of constructive economic zones and industrial parks guarantees that the province lives up to the expectations of all its investors as one of the primary investment capital of the country with the operation of the first export processing zone in 1972.
