ABUCAY, Bataan – The Primewater Infrastructure Corp. will soon serve the water needs of Abucay town residents following the memorandum of agreement signed by the municipal government and the water firm last February 27.
Engr. Ernesto Vergara, municipal administrator, said the Primewater will operate the water system with the municipal government not spending a single centavo for the project.
Construction of deep-wells in the villages of Gabon, Salian, Laon and Calaylayan is now being readied for full operation before mid-year.
Michael John Magu, branch manager of Primewater, said there was no exact number of total households connection but estimated that majority of the town’s population would get water connections upon completion of the system.
At present, residents solely rely on free-flowing water system and jetmatic pumps for water sources. When completed, every household will have water faucet in their kitchens, toilets and bathrooms.
