BAGAC, Bataan – Several prominent Bataan-based real estate and commercial leasing property developers are opting to construct mixed-use hotel resorts facilities and retirement villages estimated to be worth P 5 billion to promote the historic town as one of the premier tourist havens in Central Luzon.
Nick S. Ancheta, Bagac municipal administrator, expounded on the plan of three prestigious property developers to heighten the town’s flourishing eco-tourism industry comprising about 70 kilometers shoreline facing the best of nature’s gift with the panoramic vista of majestic West Philippine Sea and the lush virgin forest of Bataan National Park.
According to Ancheta, prestigious land developers in the province have proposed for the construction of ship cruise terminal as they expand their corporate linkages to the fast growing travel and tourism market in the country.
The three real estate businessmen, Ronnie del Rosario of Cresta de Oro Philippine ; Goody Ilagan of Camaya Coast and Jerry Acuzar owner of the world –class heritage resort, Las Casa Filipinas de Acuzar are embarking on a rigorous comprehensive plan for the cruise ship port project.
Other big-time property developers are constructing European –style resort facilities in the coastal villages of Banawang, Ibis and Saysain in this town, classified as high-end property investment scheme which would integrate tourism growth that will eventually become sustainable and inclusive.
Anticipating a big demand for affordable and convenient hotel accommodations for visitors, Ancheta said locators are also scouting for still underdeveloped sections of the town’s vast seashores for possible locations for health and community retirement housing projects.
