SUBIC – The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) played host to one of the biggest promotional campaigns giving a good presentation of SBMA, BCDA and the AFAB, yesterday, March 12, luring big foreign investors and top businessmen of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Central Luzon.
SBMA Administrator and Chairperson, Atty Wilma T. Eisma informed the audience on what is in store for Subic with the different impressive business
opportunities and potential expansion of Subic 2019 saying that Subic is the Asia’s next cruise ship playground like the Bahamas and that “Redondo expansion is the next future of Subic”
She challenged the businessmen to take a look at the Redondo expansion, a 4.6 Billion investment with 219 hectares of land development being developed by Rocks Unlimited Project Venture for renewable and tourism projects.
Vince Dizon, President and CEO of the Bases Conversion Development Authority(BCDA) presented the vision of Clark as the Rising Tiger of Asia, clearly stating Clark as the City of the future and Asia’s next Premier Gateway.
Dizon amazed the audience with its panoramic Clark Global City, an unprecedented landmark development twice the size of Manhattan, a strategic location in Asia-Pacific which consists of 4 main districts, the Clark Freeport Zone, the existence of mixed-used complex, the Clark Global City and the new Clark City which will house new government offices, central in all of these is the Clark International Airport which will soon be expanded to accommodate 80 million passengers a year.
Last but not the least was the presentation of Chairman Emmanuel Pineda of the Freeport Area of Bataan describing FAB as a “soft heart”, inspired by the book Little Prince.
Chairman Pineda presented FAB’s complete facilities, expansion, housing
project, accessibility to different government and private agencies on a one-stop-shop, a central terminal for public transportation like the E-jeep, rapid bus transit and others. He ended his presentation with the statement, the “high-end manufacturers, makers of coach and other top brand bags.
