TESDA and BFTI’s 3-day skills competition kicks off

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Bataan Federation of Technical Institutions are conducting this year’s skills competition from August 9-11, at the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), this city.

Participants of the competition represent different schools around the province namely: Provincial Training Center – Orion, Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Mariveles, Bataan Peninsula Educational Institution Inc., Eastwoods Professional College of Science and Technology Inc., Bataan Heroes Memorial College, Softnet Information Technology Center Inc., Philippine Women’s University Career Development and Continuing Education Center – Bataan Inc., and Microcity College of Business and Technology Inc.

The skills competition include the following: welding, fashion technology, electronics, electrical installation technology, graphics design, plumbing and heating, web design, cookery, IT software solution, restaurant service, mechanical CAD, and mobile robotics.

Awarding of winners will be held tomorrow, August 11. Good luck to all the competitors!
